Oliver Stone joke bombs!

I was watching the 2006 British Comedy Awards on ITV with Lisa last night. After it finished on ITV it continued with more awards and backstage stuff on ITV2. It was on this part of the show that Oliver Stone came on to present an award. He told a really bad-taste joke about the Suffolk serial killer. He said "It's great to be back in England. I feel like the Jack The Ripper days are back. Nothing ever changes here." Realising that his joke fell flat on it's face he tried to dig himself out of the hole by saying "You're a wonderful audience"
